ABOUT US

SAME (Self-Awareness, Motivation & Empowerment) Project is a faith-based transitional housing initiative and mobile community aid aimed at helping individuals reintegrate into society and also giving back to those in need. Our mission is to provide essential support and resources to those facing homelessness, addiction or other life altering situations, empowering them to rebuild their lives and motivating them to achieve lasting stability. The project seeks to provide food, clothing, transportation, housing, various assistance programs, life skills training, and resources for people who have been involved in the justice system, those recovering from addiction and those facing disastrous circumstances. The primary focus is offering a structured and supportive environment that fosters independence, self-awareness and personal growth.

SERVICES

What We Provide

Daily feeding & Food program

Daily Feeding takes place everyday between 5PM-9PM. Dinner is prepared by volunteers and tenants daily for the group, ensuring a collaborative, and successful community environment. All residents will be enrolled in food assistance programs (food stamps). Tenants can use food stamps for personal purchases, with communal food shopping taking place every Sunday.

Clothing Closet

With the help of your and our communities donations we can serve as a closet for those in need of clothing.

Transitional housing

Part of SAME Project is providing housing. Payment plans are available for tenants who begin work but cannot cover the upfront costs. Maintenance is covered by donations from tenants. Volunteers may assist with daily operations, including laundry and food shopping, but residents are encouraged to contribute.

Non-Emergency transport

SAME Project provides non-emergency transportation to our tenants. Adjusting back to society can be difficult with
no means of transportation. We strive to be the helping hand everyone deserves, but doesn't always have.

Does SAME Project collaborate with other parties?

We are open to collaborating with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies to expand our services and reach more individuals in need.

What is our Curriculum?

Faith-Based Curriculum:

- A program built on faith-based principles, providing spiritual guidance alongside

practical support.

- We collaborate with religious organizations and community volunteers to offer

mentorship and counseling.

Are Visitors & Pets Welcome?

Yes visitors are welcome, but are only allowed in the designated outside visiting areas. However pets are not allowed whether belonging to visitors or tenants.
